Scream Turns 30 — Ghostface Is Back in Theaters for One Night Only

Scream 30th anniversary rerelease — Think Horror designed graphic for Ghostface's return to theaters

Designed graphic by Think Horror.

Scream turns 30, and Ghostface is back in theaters — one day only at Cinemark on October 26, then a wider run from October 30.

The lights go down, the trailers end, and somewhere in the dark a phone starts ringing. Not your phone — the one on screen, in a quiet house in Woodsboro, in 1996. You know exactly who’s calling. Thirty years later, you’d still better answer.

Woodsboro’s worst phone call is turning thirty, fiends. The FOMO screening is exactly that — one day, Monday, October 26, and then it’s gone, so this is not a “catch it next weekend” situation. Miss Monday and your second chance is the Paramount Scares run from Friday, October 30 in select theaters, Cinemark among them — that’s the booking carrying the Ghostface popcorn bucket and souvenir cup, with free same-day refills.

Two dates, two different bookings — keep them straight at the ticket window, because the internet already isn’t. And if one night isn’t enough, the anniversary keeps giving: a 30th Anniversary 4K box set lands December 15, for the fiends who want Ghostface living on the shelf permanently.

Homework before Monday: revisit our Sidney Prescott page — the original final girl of Woodsboro — and keep our Scream 7 tracker close for where the franchise cuts next.

One day, boils and ghouls. Set the reminder, pick your seat, and whatever you do — don’t answer a call from anyone asking your favorite scary movie until after the credits. Keep it locked on Think Horror.
