Halloween (1978) Is Back at Cinemark Tuesday — With More Showings Halloween Week
The Shape comes home — Halloween (1978).
The Shape is coming home — to the big screen. John Carpenter’s Halloween (1978) plays participating Cinemark theaters on Tuesday, October 27, in the chain’s Fear of Missing Out series — and if Tuesday doesn’t work for you, the announced schedule gives you two more shots: Thursday, October 29 and Saturday, October 31.
It lands the night after Scream (1996) takes its turn on Monday, October 26 — the two slashers that built the genre, back to back in the same week, four days out from Halloween. One booking note, boils and ghouls: the Ghostface popcorn bucket belongs to Scream’s separate 30th anniversary run starting Friday, October 30, not to these Cinemark series nights. Keep the bookings straight and nobody gets hurt.
Showings and showtimes vary by location, so check your local Cinemark’s listings before you make the drive — we can’t promise your neighborhood screen made the cut.
